CARE Network Provider Information

1. CARE Network Provider Requirements: 

  • Physician (MD, DO)

  • Physician Assistant (PA)

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)

  • Nurse (RN)

2. CARE Network providers must successfully complete a background screening:

  • Screening processed by The Kempe Center through DORA confirming that your license is in good standing. 

3. New CARE Network provider requirements:  

  • Complete the two-day, virtual, New Provider Training

  • Complete mandatory reporter training HERE

4. Annual CARE Network provider requirements:

  • Complete a minimum of 6 hours of continuing education per calendar year through designated ECHO Colorado clinics (tele-education).

  • Submit a minimum of 2 cases for peer learning. (12 ECHO clinics scheduled per year) For more information on the ECHO learning model visit their WEBSITE. Information on the CARE Network ECHO Clinic schedule will be released in April 2020. 

  • Attend the CARE Network provider annual meeting.

5. CARE Network providers must actively participate in the case review / mentorship program:

  • Every medical evaluation must be submitted to the Resource Center for tracking and quality assurance. Visit our CARE NETWORK PROVIDER EVALUATION page for more information.
