ELIGIBLE PROVIDER TYPES
-
Physician (MD, DO) trained in pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine and emergency medicine
-
Physician Assistant (PA) with specialty in pediatrics or family medicine working within their defined scope of practice under the supervision of a physician who may or may not be a CARE Network provider
-
Nurse Practitioner (NP) with specialty in pediatrics or family medicine working within their defined scope of practice under the supervision of a physician who may or may not be a CARE Network provider
-
Nurse (RN) practicing as a Forensic Nurse Examiner or Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner

LICENSE VERIFICATION
Screening processed by The Kempe Center through DORA confirming that a new provider's license is in good standing.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
INITIAL TRAINING

Complete web-based mandatory reporter training HERE
ONGOING TRAINING

Participate in at least 50% of designated virtual CARE NETWORK ECHO sessions, offered monthly. Click HERE for additional information on training sessions

MENTORSHIP
CARE Network providers must actively participate in the case review / mentorship program:

Every medical evaluation must be submitted to the Kempe Center for tracking and quality assurance. Click HERE for more information on submitting evaluations.
