ELIGIBLE PROVIDER TYPES
-
Physician (MD, DO) trained in pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine and emergency medicine

Physician Assistant (PA) with specialty in pediatrics or family medicine working within their defined scope of practice under the supervision of a physician who may or may not be a CARE Network provider
​​
-
Nurse Practitioner (NP) with specialty in pediatrics or family medicine working within their defined scope of practice under the supervision of a physician who may or may not be a CARE Network provider
​​
-
Nurse (RN) practicing as a Forensic Nurse Examiner or Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner

LICENSE VERIFICATION
​Screening processed by The Kempe Center through DORA confirming that a new provider's license is in good standing.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
INITIAL TRAINING

Complete web-based mandatory reporter training HERE

ONGOING TRAINING
​

Participate in at least 50% of designated virtual CARE NETWORK ECHO sessions, offered monthly. Click HERE for additional information on training sessions​​

MENTORSHIP
CARE Network providers must actively participate in the case review / mentorship program:

Every medical evaluation must be submitted to the Kempe Center for tracking and quality assurance. Click HERE for more information on submitting evaluations.
